Description
Everly Brothers Rare Factory Test Pressings. Genuine factory test pressings x 2 AXL 1616 / 7. I have AXL 1615 - Eddie Cochran listed as well. I can find no record anywhere of an Everly's album with this track listing from 1960 and can only presume that the release was shelved. I have spoken at length with Steve "Stack o Wax" Jepson from Forest FM Radio and Bim Bam Records and he knows of no known release. Here first off is the track listing. Disc one - When will I be loved. Bird Dog. Till I kissed you. Problems. Poor Jenny. Love of my life. Disc two - Like strangers. All I have to do is dream. Claudette. Oh what a feeling. Take a message to Mary. Devoted to you. This looks very much like UK London 45's A and B sides and was likely to be a cash in at the time when Everly 45's began to be issued by Warner Brothers, Cathy's Clown onwards. I have play tested both discs several times and the playback is top quality. Test pressings tended to be made with top quality vinyl. Visually the discs do have light surface marks but these can not be felt and do not affect play. The labels do have some damage, possibly due to long time storage in a damp environment. Take a look at the close up pictures and consider my honest description before you bid. I will accept bids World Wide, please wait for invoice before you play. Any questions ? Feel free to contact me. Thanks for looking and stay safe.
