Description

We are selling one Very Rare 1960's Garage Band called "The Magic Mustangs" from Rochester, MN. The Record Label is SMEK - Numbered TJ-3051.  The Paper Sleeve looks to be a homemade one glued on top of a generic brown paper sleeve. Songs are: "You Gotta be a Playboy" & "Jack the Ripper" - I played both sides of the record & they sounded good with no skipping - although there are some light scratches on each side. I called it Rare because the last one sold on EBay for $ 300 & I could only get very little information about this group. On the back side is the 4 members pictured - Mark, Gordy, Terry & Jim. Plus it reads"The Four John Marshall High School Sophomores have thrilled the young dance set by music with a contrast offering Ballads & Rockin Rhythm - this is just too loud enough, their climb to the top has rocketed in just one season." -( it looks to be around 1964?).
