"RL" IN DEAD WAX ON BOTH SIDES
1969
For sale is a rare legendary 1969 Robert Ludwig pressing of this classic LP...Atlantic SD 8236, 1841 Broadway, New York label. "RL" appears in the dead wax of both sides. "SS" (Sterling Sound) appears with the "RL" on side 2.Matrix Numbers at bottom center of labels: Side 1 shows ST-A-691671 PR Side 2 shows ST-A-691672 PR The "PR" indicates it was produced at Presswell Records Mfg. Co. in Ancora, NJ.
Side 1 dead wax shows ST-A-691671-A P LW W AT RL Side 2 dead wax shows ST-A-691672-A P LW AT RL SS M The dead wax is very narrow on side 2.
Cover condition is VG; vinyl condition is G-VG. Record has significant wear. It played all the way through without skipping, but there is background noise throughout (see below for condition descriptions). Gatefold cover has wear on the edges and a light stain front and back at the spine.

Visual Grading:
Near Mint (NM) Like new condition with minimal perceptible flaws
Excellent+ (EX+) Extremely nice quality with few cover or vinyl wear issues
Excellent (EX) Limited cover wear. Vinyl has limited visual or audible imperfections which do not significantly detract from listenability of the record.
Very Good+ (VG+) May include only minor seam splits, ring wear, cover wear, and/or small sticker tears. The vinyl has marks (eg. scuffs, hairline scratches) visible resulting in some background surface sound.
Very Good (VG) Some cover wear and multiple marks/wear on the vinyl. The record is most likely to have some surface sounds throughout but should be able to play without skipping or repeating.
Good (G) Cover and vinyl show definite signs of wear but sound quality is acceptable.
Fair (F) Cover and vinyl is rough with little care having been taken for the LP.
