Rare and Deleted Signed 7" Beatles (Beat Brothers featuring Tony Sheridan) 'Ain't She Sweet'. Signed in person by Pete Best. NH 52317. This is a very rare Beatles 7" record for a number of reasons. Firstly, the record 'Ain't She Sweet' is a rare vinyl to acquire anyway, made even rarer by the DELETED stamp on the centre of the record. It is also in an original Polydor sleeve. Also, it has been signed in pen by Pete Best the original drummer who played on the track. He kindly signed this in person for me on one of the occasions I met him at the annual Best Fest evening in The Casbah Coffee Club in Liverpool that his family own. (A highly recommended gig if you get the chance to go to it. An awesome night). Pete was the drummer through "The Hamburg Days" as they have now become known and was a key member alongside John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. They played hours and hours of live shows when in Hamburg and played on stage with Sheridan as well as recording some tracks with him. (They had to be listed as The Beat Brothers at the time due to translation difficulties of the word Beatles!) The B side is 'If You Love Me Baby'. John Lennon provides the vocals on the A side and Tony Sheridan provides them on the B side. I am sadly selling this due to my current financial position. I would much prefer to keep hold of it but circumstances do not allow this. This record will be sent extremely well packed so it arrives safely with you.
