Description

BRAND NEW, FACTORY SEALED COPY OF THE STEVE ALBINI MIXES OF NIRVANAS 'IN UTERO'!!!

This release was cut from a different set of master tapes with a significantly different mix of the album (especially "Heart-Shaped Box" and "All Apologies").

It is generally accepted but not confirmed that this is Steve Albini's original, unaltered mix of the album.

"This album was mispressed at the factory in 2003, they accidentally pressed the original unaltered Steve Albini mix, which sounds far different than the other version released on CD etc. that were re-mixed by Scott Litt. The guitars and drums are louder and more defined with guitar licks previously unheard - has a grungier and heavier feel to it - some songs are more obvious to hear the differences. This is what the album should have sounded like when it was originally released, a heavier sounding album with more of a "Nirvana" feel to it. A must have for fans and collectors."
