Description

So, here it is. This is the collectors edition of this rare vinyl drum solo recording. It's a 12" LP recorded at 45rpm (for greater fidelity) and pressed on virgin vinyl by Teldec of Germany. Recorded direct-to-disc without any processing. It is one-take without any editing. Out of print and unavailable from M&K. This record was produced at vinyl's zenith in the late 70s and meticulously recorded by M&K at their studio in Hollywood. Brand new in original loose shrink-wrap (to minimize warping). Side 1 features legendary pianist Earl "Fatha" Hines in a blistering rendition of Juan Tizol's Caravan as a vehicle for an extended drum solo.  Side 2 is "Sonic Inventions" featuring the full drum kit plus some percussion including bell tree, triangle, crotaly, small gongt!. I will autograph if you like.
