Description
From the collection of 10" Jazz LPs i've been selling slowly, here are two days worth of the letters O and P, which means lots of Parker and Peterson and Phillips, and a host of David Stone Martin covers. Most are VG++, with the remainder VG+ or i'll describe if worse...
Okay, ending these Charlie Parker listings with the best one of all, sporting one of David Stone Martin's most beautiful jacket illustrations:
Rare and elegant, 10" Mercury MG C-513, Charlie Parker South of the Border, offering Bird plus unidentified Latin and Jazz players (but discogs say Benny Harris, Walter Bihop, Teddy Kotick, Max Roach and others), in versions of Tico Tico, Un Poquito de tu Amor, My Little Suede Shoes, Estrellita, Begin the Beguine, La Paloma, La Cucaracha, and Mama Inez.
Vinyl is fine VG++ save for one light mark. Jacket is in top condition with great tongue-in-cheek full-color David Stone Martin illustration. Definitely frameable!
