Description

Rare 68' UK Verve(VS 569) original pink label Demo;Garnet Mimms-I Can Hear My Baby Crying/Stop and Think It Over.In lovely,clean Excellent/Plays Excellent+ condition.Just a couple of very,very light&slight surface marks on A-side.Ditto B side.Vinyl is basically Near Mint.A really nice copy.Two fine sides from one of Souls'all-time great voices,the superlative Garnet Mimms.The B-side is the better side,probably,and the stronger song(shades of Jackie Wilsons'Higher&Higher'but better,in my view)-a cracking performance.Featured on a Goldmine Northern Soul CD of Verve recordings some years back.
