Description

John Lennon "Roots" Adam VIII 8018 (1975). The release concept appealed to John Lennon because of his late night viewing of the Adam VIII greatest hits ads on TV. But not getting approval from Apple Records resulted in the stopping of sales of the Adam VIII pressing, and Apple demanded that all existing unsold copies to be destroyed. "Great Rock and Roll Hits" appears on the spine. The songs featured on the album are:Be-Bop-A-Lula, Ain't That A Shame, Stand By Me, Sweet Little Sixteen, Rip It Up, Angel Baby, Do You Want To Dance, You Can't Catch Me, Bony Moronie, Peggie Sue, Bring It On Home To Me, Slippin' & Slidin', Be My Baby, Ya Ya, Just Because. Very 2 small worn areas on the spine and on the top seam, otherwise both cover and vinyl are in excellent shape.
