Description

Rashied Ali (with Carlos Ward, Stafford James, Fred Simmons) NEW DIRECTIONS IN MODERN MUSIC Survival records 104, Recorded 1972. Disc visually has some handling scuffs, one audible for about 1:25 in left channel of side A. Ex overall.  Very thin dynaflex-style pressing.  Jacket is immaculate.

Here’s the tenth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
