Description

Ravel Piano Concertos. Concerto in G Major & Concerto for the left hand. Samson Francois and the Paris Conservatoire Orchestra conducted by Andre Cluytens.

Sleeve : Good. Has small split top right. There is a stamp on the rear. this record is from a conductors collection who attended Aldborough Grammar School. He has also written in biro some timings although they dont correspond to the total length. See pictures.
Record : Very Good : Only defect is small scratch at start of band 2 side 1 the beautiful adagio movement of the G Major. The clicks are light and intermittent to start with but with 4 louder clicks at the end of the scratch a few minutes into the movement. The rest of the LP plays perfectly - stunning sound and playing. Listen to the whole of band 2 side 1 below to assess the impact of the scratch. I can add other extracts if needed.
Strict Record Collector grading I dont use + or - as Record collector doesn't.
