Description
Ray Barreto "Pachanga In Percussion", original, stereo, Riverside LP
Technical Data: This is a Latin Jazz audiophile LP, produced by the electronic research and development division of Riverside Records. Fortissimo XK records are pressed on a new material called Polymax for ultimate audiophile rendition. Also, this recording starts at the innermost groove and ends at the outer edge. Do not forget to put your tonearm at the innermost groove.
The Music: Directly from Puerto Rico and Cuba, a 1961 recording for Riverside Records. All tracks composed and arrenged by Hector Rivera. The gatefold cover is in VG++ to NM (see picture of cover) except that the front cover is partially split in the top, the LP is in VG++ to NM condition.
Tracks are: Pachanga Oriental, Barreto En La Tumbadora, Pachanga Para Bailar, Los Cueros, Cumbamba, Linda Mulata, etc...
