Description

ARTIST: Ray Charles
LABEL: Atlantic 999 (1953)
TITLE: Mess Around b/w Funny (But I Still Love You)
CONDITION:
Labels: Show some ring wear
Record: This record has been played a fair amount as evidenced by a fair amount of light surface scuffs and light groove wear. I play graded this entire record. Side A plays a great VG+ w/ some light random background surface noise. Side B has a light scratch and plays VG+ w/ a little light random background surface noise and some additional very light random background ticks. Both have great sound presence / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Original 1953 copy of this killer Atlantic New Orleans piano classic written by Ahmet Ertegun in the style of Professor Longhair who he had recently recorded. One of Brother Ray's best!! Side B is a fine Blues ballad w/ cool mellow background guitar and solo from the great Mickey Baker. Comes with fantastic original Atllantic company sleeve.
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
