Extremely rare UK folk album which was actually the first LP released on the highly collectable Westwood label. Musically this is typical folk club fare of the time with a lot of trad folk tunes being performed with sparse guitar, mandolin and banjo backing but the flagolet on a few tracks helps to add some atmosphere, overall sound is somewhat similar to the first Crooked Oak LP with a bit of Callinan-Flynn thrown in.

The first album released on this tiny label, I’m told that only 200 copies were made of early Westwood albums which I find it easy to believe. Engineered By Alan Green and manufactured by folk Heritage Recordings.

CONDITION

  • VINYL-    VG, clean labels. Vinyl has a lovely rich glossy sheen and doesn't seem to have had much play. I've graded the vinyl down due to some light surface scuffs. these are fingernail type marks only.
  •  
  • COVER  VG, again nothing really wrong with the sleeve. Graded down to some light browning on the rear and average rubbing to the laminate.
