Description
Ray McVay, Kinda Kinky, Pye, Mint unplayed demo
Here is an A-label British demo pressing of Kinda Kinky, by Ray McVay (also known as Ray McVay Sound) released 1965.
It has never been played and is still in the original Pye range-bag. Catalogue number 7N.15816
The B-side, Kinkdom Come, is also mint/unplayed.
This is a truly fantastic slice of driving R&B/Northern soul/ Hammond organ ‘mods’ music, with (so I’m told) strong Kinks and Jimmy Page connections. You can listen to it here:

The labels are clean and there are no spindle marks. Note that the A-side has been date-stamped 15 April 1965 by the Pye press office – this was the record’s release date. If being super-critical, one could consider that the B-side’s vinyl has the very occasional lightish shadow mark indicating the record was once kept in a damp room, but this is really irrelevant to the mint condition, won’t affect the playing, and could probably be cleaned off (I didn’t try because I wanted the record to remain ‘untouched’).
Will post worldwide, signed-for. Insurance can be added on request.
