Description

RARE double volume set containing the smash classic "Midnight, the Stars and You" as played in the 1980 Horror Film, The Shining! Other then the the 1934 78 RPM release (sold for over 1K when avail.),  you will not find this song on any other 33 or 45RPM record. Al Bowlly really captivates the audience with his swooning voice, and was England's answer to America's Bing Crosby. Unfortunately, Bowlly died when German air forces dropped a bomb on the apartment he was living at, blowing a door clear off it's hinges, and killing him in 1943. Ray Nobel had a top notch orchestra that complimented Bowlly's voice.
