Description

Profile: Reality Folk

(Profile GMOR 001). Rare religious-psych folk album by obscure UK four-piece Reality Folk, the first release on the private pressing label Profile from 1972. Songs include Working Man, Peter, Winds Of Change, For Me To Live, Pilates Dream -- gentle Jesus folk with guitar, organ accomaniment, the final track On The Other Side is a rather more downbeat recitation over a haunting sustained organ note. The back cover and labels both have a small ink-stamped 'reject, presumably indicating this was discarded from an academic library or a radio station catalogue at some point. Stylish black-on-red silhouettes cover design. The record and laminated sleeve are in excellent condition.
