artist: Reality
title: S/T
label: 1978 Graham International, GIR-1979 description: Extremely rare private Funk LP on NYC-based Graham International label. At the present time it looks like this label released four albums total, three unknown acts and a reissue of Lloyd Price's Music-Music. We've been sitting on this particular copy of the Reality record for at least ten years. In that time only a few tracks have popped up on Youtube, track 1 "Reality" and track 2 "Road." If you watch the Youtube videos, uploaded by two different users, you'll notice that each song appears to skip once circa 3:19. Great news for us because this copy appeared to skip in the EXACT same places. So this is obviously a pressing defect, or this inconsistency is in the actual recording/tape transfer and it's not a skip at all. Track 3 "Disco Party (Let's Have A)" is problematic as well, but there's no recording publicly available to compare with. Tracks 4-8 all play/sound fine. Very hard to find album! Free economy shipping in the U.S. Check out our other auctions ending Tuesday, August 28th!
grade: VG+/VG+. Cover is VG+. Top right corner is cut, likely to indicate promo copy. Has very minor wear on front left corners, otherwise just some light ring wear and slight discoloration from age. Overall, very well preserved. Record is VG+. Has a very slight warp, which does not affect play. High luster with a very light scratch/scuff or two, minor surface wear. Minimal signs of actual play. Record plays great aside from what are likely pressing defects, or defects in the actual recording, otherwise absolute minimal surface noise. High resolution pictures and sound clips are provided.
