Description
Former Cambrige MA Hip-Hop record store "Massive Records" entire inventory. Due to poor managment (not paying rent) store was forced to close suddenly before eviction. As a favor I let the owners move the entire inventory into my storage area. It has been almost 2 years and they are not going to reopen and they do not want to have to continue paying rent for all these records.
Due to the sudden nature of the store closing this collection was not "cherry picked" for months before moving to storage. I do not know the exact # of records but I would estimate it is between 10,000 and 15,000. Right now they are taking up a space 4' wide, 8' long and 12' high double stacked, plus I have another 25-50 crates in the basement section of my storage.
The collection includes all genre's, Hip-Hop, R+B, Jazz, Reggae, Rock, Blues, electronic, 60's, 70's, 80's..... I am also including 2 large custom built storage units, a custom built dj booth that fits 3 turntables, 2 mixers and a cd player (was used for in-store performances), and 1 magazine style display rack with storage underneath.
As far as shipping goes I am willing to load this stuff in a box truck and drive it anywhere within 1,000 miles of Boston for the cost of the Rental+Gas+Tolls+Airfare or train ticket back, I would be willing to drive it over 1,000 miles for all the previous costs + .39 per mile for my time.
Local pickup is preferred and I am more than willing to help load everything onto your vehicle.

This is a no-reserve auction as I just want to clear up the space. Payment must be made within 5 days (120 hours) of auction close, pickup must be made within 3-4 weeks. If I can help you in any way I will.
