Recorded Nov. 21, 1901. Limited Express, Len Spencer & Metropolitan Orch..... VERY GOOD CONDITION
Here is a pre dog Victor pressed in 1904, and in VERY GOOD CONDITION
A rare take. Was listed as held, but was pressed it appears in limited numbers. Victor 282 was used on 7 and 10 inch records. It seemed to be popular on the 7 inch, but much less so on the 10 inch.
Take 2 was released for the 10 inch and it appears although not mentioned that Take 4 was used, probably in limited quantities.
There were 7 takes made over a period of a few months short of 2 years. Oct 19, 1901 was when Take 1 and 2 were recorded. Nov. 21 1901 was when Take 3,4,5 and June 11 1903 was when Take 6 and 7 were made. Of The 7 takes it was thought only 2 and 6 were published. However, there is no info on Take 4, although we know a few pressings seem to have been pressed from Take 4.
Of the 2 known takes Take 2 created 200 records and Take 6 created 180. I am guessing that the records made fromTake 4 was small like those listed above or smaller.
