Description

This is Prestige PRLP 7209 Red Garland Quintet High Pressure, a New Jersey, yellow label, original mono issue with RVG in the dead wax, featuring John Coltrane, Donald Byrd and Art Taylor. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of use. The labels are perfect. The glossy, original cover is also near mint.  This is a very strong copy of this wonderful collector's piece. I have entered a modest reserve price.  The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months.
