Description
Be sure to look at my other auctions! I have many great titles for sale this week.
Artist: Red Garland
Title: Soul Junction
Label: Prestige 7181
Mono/Stereo: mono
Details: First pressing. Bergenfield labels, deep groove, RVG. Comes with the glassine sleeve it was issued I. Ultrasonic cleaned
Record grading: Visually VG++ and plays at least this well! Visually there are some streaks from storage or pressing but hardly any wear from handling or play. Clearly this hasn’t had many plays and has been well kept over the years. Play graded in full. I heard some very mild ticks on a couple occasions but nothing badly distracting, only enough to remind you it’s a record. The rest is NM, great clarity and nearly perfect other than the mention ticks. Fantastic copy!
Cover grading: Strong VG+. Laminated cover is in great shape. Tiny upper seam wear at corner, small rubber stamp on back. The rest is fabulous and close to Nm. Wonderful set, and of course an excellent session!
Labels: See photos

Record Grading Scale:
M- ESSENTIALLY A BRAND NEW RECORD, BUT HAS BEEN OPENED.
NM THE RECORD IS IMMACULATE, NEARLY PERFECT WITH THE SURFACE RETAINING FULL GLOSS AND NO SURFACE SCRATCHES
NM- THE RECORD SURFACE RETAINS A HIGH GLOSS, PERHAPS ONE OR TWO EXTREMELY FAINT MARKS, STILL EXTREMELY CLEAN
EX ESSENTIALLY A NM- SOUNDING COPY, BUT MIGHT SHOW A SMALL NUMBER OF VERY FINE SURFACE MARKS. STILL VERY CLEAN VISUALLY AND DYNAMIC AUDIBLY.
VG++ THE RECORD RETAINS MUCH OF ITS ORIGINAL SHINE, FEW LIGHT SURFACE MARKS AND OR LIGHT SCRATCHES MAY BE NOTED ON FAIRLY CLOSE EXAMINATION
VG+ THE RECORD STILL RETAINS SOME SHINE, SURFACE MARKS & SCRATCHES MAY OCCUR BUT ARE LIMITED AND TEND TO BE MODERATE TO LIGHT. RECORD WILL PLAY VERY WELL WITH VERY LIGHT SURFACE NOISE MOSTLY HEARD DURING A QUIET PASSAGE.
VG AVERAGE USED RECORD FROM HEAVY ROTATION, MAY HAVE STARTED TO LOSE ORIGINAL SHINE, SOME OBVIOUS SURFACE MARKS AND/OR SURFACE SCRATCHES WHICH MAY CAUSE SURFACE SOUNDS, ESPECIALLY IN SOFT PASSAGES
VG- THE RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED SEVERAL TIMES, THE VINYL MAY APPEAR DULL, MAY HAVE LOTS OF TINY MARKS OR SURFACE SCRATCHES WHICH MAY BE FELT, SURFACE MARKS MAY BE HEAVY AND SURFACE NOISE MAY BE NOTICEABLE THROUGHOUT
FAIR / POOR AS DESCRIBED
