Description
Up for auction is an original SIGNED copy of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' 1987 album The Uplift Mofo Party Plan.
I purchased this album new when it came out, and had the album signed in person by all four members of RHCP at an an-store appearance they made at Phantasmagoria Records in Wheaton, Maryland on October 28, 1987. I was 16 years old, and a big RHCP fan!
The album is in great M-/VG+ shape - some normal marks from play. No feelable scratches or deep scuffs. It includes the original printed lyric inner sleeve. Even as a teenager I took excellent care of my records.
The album is signed by all four members of RHCP including Hillel Slovak, who would pass away just 8 months later.
Flea inscribed this to me - "Aaron - Don't be scarin' yourself - FLEA" then drew a toothy mouth cartoon doodle.
Anthony signed - "Aaron - RELEASE YOUR BEAST"
Jack signed - Aaron, The key to my life is your morning piss." in blue marker
Hillel - had no inscription, just his name signed in red marker
I am also selling a signed promo poster for the same in-store event where I had this signed - please see my other auctions!
I will ship internationally, but high value transactions may require registered/trackable shipping at the buyer's cost.
