Description
This is part of a large auction featuring R&B, doo-wop and blues singles from several small independent labels of the 1950's/early 60's.

Release: The Topps - I've Got A Feeling / Won't You
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1954
Notes: Dark red label first pressing. Obscure and tough to find record, one of just two records released by this vocal group, presumably out of New York. The music is a little rough, but interesting, R&B leaning doo-wop on both sides.
Vinyl Condition: VG, Vinyl itself looks clean, but has quite a few scuffs, mainly in one area. It's an odd pattern of wear. The record plays much better than it looks. There is some light crackle in spots, but not bad at all and there's never a point where it's distracting. Label has some damage due to liquid exposure, but not terrible. I would call this a player more than a looker and a nice place holder until you find a better copy.
Sleeve Condition: VG, has a blank sleeve that I believe is original. Has some minor wrinkling, but no tears/splits/writing.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in late-January for a rock 'n roll/rockabilly auction and a very cool selection of 78's after that.
