Description
Scarce 45 for The Reel Bodeans, the Grand Rapids, Michigan punk band., from 1986. The single features the songs “I Won’t Take It” and “Tax.” The real desirability comes from the cover art by Maynard James Keenan of Tool, A Perfect Circle, etc. This was designed when Maynard was playing with Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty (C.A.D.). You can see that in the cover drawing of Marshall, the Reel Bodeans’ singer, he is wearing a TexA.N.S. T-shirt – Maynard’s band prior to C.A.D. Layout was done by Gabe Konrad from the industrial group Grey Tissue. The sleeve was copied on cardstock at Kinko’s and hand-trimmed and folded by the band, Maynard, and Gabe. Mint disc in a near mint sleeve.
