Refined By Fire - Refined By Fire 1980 RARE Private Press Acid/Psych/Folk READ.
This is an extremely rare and desirable private pressing…the disc plays beautifully, however there are some sleeve and disc condition issues, hence the low price. Read details below. Fair offers always considered.
Sleeve: G+
Sleeve has no splits or major creases, however has suffered some apparent water damage leading to some mold spots mostly around the bottom right on front, bottom center of gatefold and back right corner. I have carefully used disinfectant to wipe and scrape away any excess. Overall, gatefold sleeve presents nicely. See pics!
Disc: VG+
Gorgeous glossy sheen…disc appears unplayed and plays NM. Beautiful surfaces with only a couple of the faintest superficial hairlines that appear/disappear when tilted under bright light. No real scratches or scuffs. There is a very slight dish warp that does not affect play in the least. It’s very minimal. Disc was Spin Cleaned followed by an ultrasonic cleaning and placed in an archival inner sleeve. Plays beautifully on my Technics SL-D303 with Nagaoka MP-110 cartridge. Would grade a solid EX+ were it not for the slight dish warp.

Disc will be placed in an archival inner sleeve after ultrasonic cleaning and placed behind the jacket in a plastic outer sleeve to prevent splitting. Will be packaged safely- snugly sandwiched between two cardboard stiffeners and shipped in a proper LP mailer.
