Description
Here is an ultra-rare original pressing of the 1975 Tribe album "Reflections in the Sea of Nurnen," a classic in the spiritual cosmic black consciousness soul jazz sub-genre, by Doug Hammond and David Durrah.
Condition: Please read CAREFULLY before bidding.
Cover:
Structurally, the cover is solid. There is some typical edge wear, but all seams are intact. Aesthetically, the cover is very clean. There is some subtle ring wear, but nothing distracting or egregious.
Vinyl:
The LP was cleaned on a Nitty Gritty machine. Vinyl is very clean, exhibiting virtually no surface marks. Some sellers would not hesitate to describe the vinyl as near mint, but I will conservatively grade the vinyl at VG+.
Labels:
The labels are very clean. Side 1 exhibits virtually no spindle marks; side 2 has a few faint spindle marks. There a couple of tiny dots, presumably made with a black Sharpie, beside a couple of the track titles on each side (see photo).
Overall, this is a very, very clean copy of a hard-to-find LP.
