Description
Please note that as I have not had a turntable since the early 1980s. I am not able to verify the playing quality of these vinyl discs. However, I looked after them and one was never even played at all, so is in new condition. See below. I do not remember any playing issues with any of them.
Also please note that if only one side of an album has a photo, it is because I had to reduce the photos to a maximum of 24. All the sides of each album are in a similar conditon to the one shown. Also, there is a reflection of me in some images of the discs, these are not imperfections or marks on the discs!
1. Byron Lee and the Dragonaires SMLP53 1969 Major Minor This LP was bought in 1970. It was played a little but was well looked after. The condiiton of the sleeve is undamaged, but showing signs of its age around the edges. The inner record sleeve which is white is a little beige at the edges. The disc itself is clean with no signs of damage. See photos
2. Double Barrell TBL-162A 1971 Trojan Bought in 1971 Cover undamaged. Average signs of age. Inner sleeve good and disc very clean. Hardly played by me. See photos
3. 20 Reggae Classics TRLS222 1984 Trojan Bought in 1984 for me as a gift. Still in orginal polythene inner sleeve. Never played. Therefore as new condition. Cover very good and undamaged.
4. Reggae Chartbusters TBLS105A 1969 Trojan Bought at the time. Played a fair amount. Cover average for age.Inner sleeve browned along the top. Disc clean and in good condition.
5. Tighten Up Volume 3 TTL-32B 1970 Trojan Not sure if I bought this second hand in Manchester from a reggae store in Moss Side. There was no poster with it. There is no damage to the cover, but it is ageing. Played it quite a lot at the time. Disc is clean and good. 6. Tighten Up Volume 4 TBL 163B 1971 Trojan Again bought at the time. Cover is good and undamaged. White sleeve is good. Disc is clean and good.
