Description
Reiner & The Chicago –
PINES OF ROME –
Rca LSC-2436 – SD -
Recommended by TAS
A classic Rca Living Stereo issue, Reiner and his Chicago were here captured by Mohr and Layton in 1960, a recording that has been heralded on the TAS list as one of the finest of its kind in all of classical repertory on vinyl.
Cover of this copy has a small seam split up top, a touch of poke-through on the bottom, and a name written on back. Within, is an SD platter that should play NM- to VG+.
An early MS edition, utilizing the best vinyl Rca ever pressed.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
