This record is from my own personal collection, I've had it for many many years. It was in this condition when I got it, and very seldom played since then, maybe two or three delicate, careful listens?

VINYL: Vinyl is smooth and shiny. I am calling it VG to VG+, in the interest of caution, it is really right on the line, because I am VERY conservative with my grading. But with a proper cleaning it might easily be considered VG++ to Excellent, to many sellers. Put it this way: my wife listened to most of the record with me, recently, and she thought it sounded beautiful, for whatever that's worth. But because I am selling this record, I am more a little more critical and cautious. I have attempted to describe its condition of both cover and vinyl in great detail so you can bid with confidence.

It could probably benefit from a proper machine cleaning, but it displays very little wear except a gray bump on the outer rim (before the music starts) and a few very small light surface scuffs on side 2 that disappear if you move the record and change the angle of viewing. PLEASE NOTE, the enormous gray looking lines you see in the pictures, that look like swirls in the vinyl, are NOT the scuffs, those are just reflections in the pictures. These actual scuffs were so tiny and light, as to be impossible to photograph.

There is also a marking on the very end of the last groove on side 2 -- it almost looks to me like someone picked up the needle before it was completely over. Again, this is a tiny pinpoint mark, I do not want to over-exaggerate but I am trying to be extremely accurate.

We listened to the record, and the beginning of the first cut on side one has some audible pops -- not skips but pops, that disappear as you get further into the track. I won't lie, it's a little disconcerting on the first listen, you'll be waiting for them to disappear, but it cleans up by the time the proper soloing starts - I wasn't timing it with a watch, but it clears up around 1:45 or 2:00 in. Once you get into it, it starts cooking, even the quiet selections elsewhere on the record are smooth and rich, with no major underlying static or crackling that I could discern. A few pops here and there -- it's not a perfectly smooth audiophile MINT record, but still quite listenable and enjoyable. Repeating again -- this record is from my own collection, I bought it used in New York City in the mid '90s and wouldn't have brought it home and kept it this long if it was junk.

COVER: the cover is a solid grade of VG. It's nowhere near pristine, but relatively clean and clear. .No major ring wear that I can see. It has some flaws, which I will list in detail. First of all, it has a small dime-sized, handwritten sticker in the upper right hand corner. This was not the price that I paid for it, although I'm sure we all wish we could pay that for this item! And I suspect, based on the style and amount of yellowing of the sticker, that the sticker is is quite old. I have had this record, stored unplayed in my collection since the 1990s.  I suspect the sticker could be removed with only minimal impact on the gloss beneath, but I leave that up to the next owner.

Next, there is a slight very small dirt fleck on the painting on the front cover lower middle (see weird-looking close up). Frankly, it looks a LOT worse in the pictures than in real life, and again, I think it could probably be cleaned up-- I am just being really thorough in micro-listing all the details of this item.

There is a faint smear or ink line on the left back cover, it looks like ink, see photo. And a slight brown staining along the edges of the back cover, see photo. Again, I repeat -- the photos actually make them look WORSE than they are, but I am trying to describe this item in detail. It is a USED record, but not beat-up or ragged out by any stretch.

The lines you see in the vinyl in the pictures are just reflections, the record itself does not look like that.

Last thing: in the photo of the back cover address, the squiggly black line you see in the box underneath the address is NOT really there, that's just a shadow of the camera strap as I was taking the picture. The other pictures of the back clearly show that there's no markings there.
