Description

Respighi - Feste Romane, The Pines Of Rome.  Lorin Maazel,The Cleveland Orchestra. 1981 Mobile Fidelity issue.  Cut in Japan and jacketed in US.

This is our 1 owner copy of this modern classical LP.  It has been stored safely since at least 1983 when we moved home.  My father bought it new upon release.  I will grade it as conservatively as possible:

Vinyl - well i dont like to get carried away but put simply this is totally mint and as new.  There is not a single mark or hairline under close maglite inspection and it appears completely unplayed but for a minor finger mark on the run in areas.  Truly looks like it came straight from print.  In fact this is the sexiest slab of vinyl ive ever seen, its almost beauty to behold in its own right.  It appears unwarped and doesnt require playtesting (Linn out of order anyway!).

Jacket/inners - in excellent condition there is just minor storage wear at worst.  No seem or spine splits and jist a hint of spine crush.  There is a sliggt ripple in tye car front right.  It feels very safe and solid for yrs to come.  The inners consist of a card brochure liner (mint) with the black soft touch vinyl inner (tidy) which Mofi do so well and pays dividends in keeping these LPs in amazing dust free condition... none can compare.

Totally one off condition and quite rare but not in highest of demand the price reflects the condition and single safe ownership.
