Description

This is part of a big auction full of 1950's blues and R&B 45's that I'm running this week.  There are many rarities from Peacock & Savoy as well as several from smaller labels.  Lots of gems here! Keep an eye on the store as well, I'm doing a jazz 45's auction starting in early February.

Release: The Tads - She is My Dream / Wolf Call


Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1957

Notes: Original 1st pressing on Rev Records. Super-cool A-side track that has been featured in several TV shows/movies lately. It's a bit of a cult classic at this point. The B-side is a neat song as well, a little more "out there", but with a great beat and interesting harmonies.


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl itself is in nice shape with just some very light superficial scuffing on one side. Plays great with nice sound. No ticks/pops/skips and hardly any background noise at all. The labels have a little bit of dirtiness/discoloration, but no tears/stickers/writing, there is just a hint of ring scuffing.  Nice copy overall.


*This comes with a generic off-white sleeve.  Not sure if it's original, but consider it a bonus if it is.
