Description

The music of Rev. Pearly Brown, a renowned Georgia street singer known for his moving spirituals. The album contains a collection of his most beloved songs. Blind from birth, the reverend played a bottleneck style of guitar that inspired future rock and roll musicians from Georgia. He was one of the first African American performers to play at the Grand Ole Opry.
