Riccardo Muti 1992 Live Haydn Sym No.48 Beethoven Sym No.3 2LP Altus JAPAN
Product introduction
The last brilliance of the Hetzel era!
The bright and dynamic taste of Muti.
Includes the Chiakigaku live at the Vienna Philharmonic Festival in 1992, the 150th anniversary of the Vienna Philharmonic. Hetzel, the first concertmaster at the time, said he was enthusiastic that "all the concerts held in 1992 are considered to be the 150th anniversary of the founding of the concert." Conducted by Muti, the "de facto chief conductor" who has a strong relationship of trust in both opera and concerts for over 20 years. The most fulfilling moments of the Vienna Philharmonic are here.
The brilliant tone and beautiful sound of the violin voice like Muti. And the liveliness of the low-pitched voice! Not only "Hero" but also "Maria Theresia" is incredibly splendid. You can enjoy the music of the Vienna Philharmonic at the end of the Hetzel era with excellent sound quality. Hetzel died in an accident while hiking shortly after this concert. The liner notes include "The Secret Story of Joining Hetzel" by Mr. Atsushi Konto, a scholar of the Vienna Philharmonic. You will be amazed at the surprising facts that are not well known.
