Description

Did someone leave the cake out in the rain?
An original 1st stereo press of TRAMP on UK RCA. Matrix 1K/1K. Stampers 2BK/1U - early in sequence. Note how the labels exhibit the Decca deep grove - only found on earliest copies. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. It was reissued a couple of years later - but not on RCA and not with a gatefold cover. We also have the original inner sleeve date coded to summer 68. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition having seen only lightest use. Surfaces retain a lot of the original lustre and there's no sign of markings. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Now, remember this is delicate crooner style audio...very fussy!. So, it needs to be early and very well preserved even to stand half a chance of a decent rendition. And this copy is capable of a nigh on perfect rendition. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and clean and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) Given the vintage superbly preserved. Beautiful sheen and perfectly flat clean surfaces. Not a single crease or bump - very impressive. The interior looks superb - the left side seems to have avoided most of the usual ageing process. No signs of wear. Four pointy corners. opening panel retains perfect rigidity. Minimal edge wear and sharp firm openings. Spine 100% intact. The cover retains excellent rigidity. A thing of beauty!
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
