Now we know where the Captain got it from !
I've been a fan and collector of Hawkwind for many years now, time to let some go. This is as far as I can see the original of what we know and love as "Hurry on Sundown" released in 1943. Clearly the version we know is different but I'm sure this is where it came from. This version is part blues part gospel. The record labels are both clean, there is no sleeve. I've owned this now for at least 15 years but have never played it, I can therefore only grade it by eye. The A side has greasy marks/stains that should clean up but no major scratches, it probably plays but expect some clicks etc. The B side is the same but worse. Having said that these old 78's are tough, when you see the needle they use they have to be.
I'm offering express delivery on this for secuity and peace of mind, the least time spent in the postal system the better for all however, if you would like to collect this in person that's good, please contact to arrange and note this in this case this will be cash on collection only. If we are posting please be aware that at present we are limiting this to once per week, usually a wednesday. Thanks for looking, I will be adding more Hawkwind items from time to time, I've a lot to shift so always a good mix on offer from our smoke-free home.
