Description

This is a special presentation 22 LP set of "Der Ring des Nibelungen" by Richard Wagner. Performed by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Georg Solti. Released on the Decca label in 1970. The set comes in a hard body case containing 5 leather bound folders each containing the separate parts of the ring cycle. As with all vinyl, condition is everything. While I am not an expert on all things musical this set appears in very fine condition, the spines of the folders show some minor scuffing but apart from that I could see nothing that could be described as a defect. The vinyl on all discs is in "as new" condition, all sets have their booklet and all sleeves are intact. The previous owner has listened to this at least once as one or two of the white inner sleeves have discreet pencil notations in the corner.
