Description
Rick Derringer And The McCoys Outside Stuff 2 LP 1974 Mercury White Label Promo SRM 2-7506 Gatefold. Play Tested EX. Hand cleaned and play tested all sides and it plays Ex. I didn't really know The McCoys beyond the 60's mega hit "Hang On Sloopy", but this a very interesting 2 LP comp of their May 1968 album "Infinite McCoys", and December 1968 as SR-61207 "Human Ball". The music is very varied from blistering blues to country, funky r&r, jazzy moments, psych, pop, but these cats could play. You also have Rick Derringer (here listed in his original name Rick Zehringer) on guitar/songwriting. Interesting arrangements, songs, ideas. A nice slice of late 60's R&R when it was allowed to experiment and borrow from the many sources that made up R&R. Album Jacket has ring wear, no seam splits and general age wear, but in great shape over all. No seam split on inside gatefold. Comes with original Mercury Records inner sleeves. This is also a very nice pressing with full sound and a good mix. Album hand cleaned with Tergikleen (used by the Library of Congress), Kimtech Wipes (Low Lint, Anti Static), Distilled Water and Brushed with an Anti-Static Brush. Please see all pics for condition. Item is Sold As-Is. PLEASE PAY PROMPTLY if you win this item. I really appreciate it. I'll be putting many more classic disco, reggae, dub, dance, funk, jazz, rock, r&b, oldies and Spanish Language LP's, 45's & CD's for sale. I will gladly make you a deal on any multiple items...just ask. Please check back to see updates. Thank you for looking!
