Description

2.300:  This is an original first printing poster by Rick Griffin, for the “Medicine Show,” a concert that featured the Charlatans and Jook Savages (Griffin was in this band).  The concert was held at the Irwin Street Warehouse on 5/12-13/1967.  The Charlatans were one of the earliest proto psychedelic San Francisco bands.  This is a classic design by Rick Griffin, showcasing his outstanding lettering and his fondness for the use of cartoon imagery.  This is hard to find poster, so get your bid in now.  Poster measures 20 X 14.
