Beautifully presented limited edition Genesis book signed by Ringo Starr.
This exclusive, limited edition features the reproduction of 53 postcards sent by George Harrison, John Lennon and Paul McCartney to Ringo Starr.
Quite simply, this is a "must-have" item for Beatles fans and would make an ideal Christmas present.
Not only do you get a genuine signed autograph by one of THE BEATLES but it comes in a beautifully packaged book .
There was more handwork involved in the crafting of this volume by Italian bookbinders than with any previous Genesis Publications title and it has 108 individual pieces of paper carefully pasted into it by hand including both sides of each facsimile postcard.
The text is printed in silver onto heavyweight black paper to give the appearance of an original photo album. The binding is in light brown Nubuk leather and the book is housed in an aluminium-faced British-style post box. Every copy in this special edition was signed / autographed by Ringo and numbered.
Specially made for this edition and also included are a page of stamps, and three postcards housed in a black envelope.
This book had an incredible reception from both customers and media all over the world. Sold out by November 2004, according to Genesis it was one of their fastest selling publications to date. Any serious Beatles fan wanted one and most of them are determined to hang onto their copy if they were lucky enough to acquire one.
This beautiful book is definitely one to treasure now and it will only continue to grow in value over the coming months and years.
