Hollywood Hot Shots 78RPM Record--1936
Original risque/novelty blues 78 rpm record, Hollywood Hot Shots Novelty No. 17, The Hollywood Hooters, High Flying Mama b/w Cleo Brown, My Handy Andy. Recorded in Hollywood, 1936. A side tune is one double-entendre aviation lyric after another ["If you wanna be an ace/Here's how to reach your goal/Take a nosedive/Into my jelly roll"], B side plays on the "handy" man who comes around when the man of the house is out. Playing surface is still quite shiny, with the usual minor scuffs and scratches, but sound quality is much better than appearance would indicate, with a minimum of background noise. No chips, cracks, label wear, or other damage. Label has word SPICY [indeed!] written on both sides. Nice single for any collector of "blue" blues and/or novelty records and is in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
78 RECORD SHIPPING PROCEDURE: Record is placed in a heavy plastic bag, then sleeved between three pieces of stiff cardboard on each side, securely taped and double bubble wrapped, then placed in a stout, well-marked shipping box.
