This is a really nice copy! The cover and vinyl are in VERY GOOD+ condition!
BUY THIS SUCKER RIGHT NOW! YOU MAY NEVER SEE ANOTHER COPY STILL IN THE SHRINK WRAP WITH THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER!
Good luck finding this gatefold cover that is still in the shrink wrap with the ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER as most people would tear off the shrink to see the inside of the gatefold. This one is in great shape as it has been preserved in plastic for lo these many years!
I recently played this LP and it sounds AWESOME!Up for sale is one(1) Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - Rainbow Rising LP from 1976 on Polydor / Oyster Records (#OY-1-1601). NO BARCODE. This is the First Pressing Gatefold version. STILL IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP WITH THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER ON THE REAR COVER.
This incredible band features, of course: Ritchie Blackmore, formerly of Deep Purple on lead guitar. Future member of Black Sabbath, The One, The Only, RONNIE JAMES DIO on vocals.
The Legendary Cozy Powell on Drums and Jimmy Bain on Bass.
Produced by Martin "The Wasp" Birch.
Has STERLING stamped in the dead wax signaling a high quality mastering.
The Vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Even with a VERY GOOD+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.
Nice clean labels.
The gatefold cover is in VERY GOOD+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, minor creases, dings and ring wear. There are NO split seams or cut-out clips.Still in the original shrink wrap with the original Hype Sticker.
The LP is in a plain white inner sleeve.
I obtained this LP in the 1970s. It was gently played back in the day. Not played in many years.
I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
