Description
Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow LP, UK 1st Press on Oyster Records, catalogue number OYA 2001. This record is a promo / sample copy, with a FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE sticker on the label of side 1. Matrix numbers are:
- A: KENDUN A OYA 2001 A - 1U WASP
- B: KENDUN B OYA 2001 B - 1U
This record comes from the collection of a former music industry professional, which includes many other sample, test, and promo records. Please also take a look at the other records that I have for sale, including a white label pressing of Deep Purple Mark 2 on black vinyl (not the usual purple)
Condition
- The record grades as excellent plus (Ex+). The record sounds fantastic and plays through without catches / skips, etc. There is a little light surface noise. The vinyl is unmarked except for one light needle mark on side 2 (see pics). This is audible, but it is not a loud click.
- The fully laminated cover is in excellent plus (Ex+) condition. There are no marks or creases, and the spine is fully readable. The only things that bring this down from near mint are some very light feathering to the opening edge, a little very light shelf wear to the upper right edge and a small mark on the spine. Overall, this is a lovely sleeve.
- The record has been cleaned on an Okki Nokki professional record cleaning machine and placed in a new anti-static sleeve. The original factory sleeve is, of course, included.
- Both record and sleeve are in a new protective outer sleeve.
Delivery and Packaging
Records are securely packaged in a strong Defendapack record mailer, and records are removed from the sleeve before packing to prevent splits. UK postage includes signed for delivery and insurance. I usually post the next working day after I receive payment.
The record is also available to pick up in the East Sussex area.
Important - international delivery
I offer international delivery through ebay's Global Shipping Program. If you are buying from outside the UK, please check the postage costs and make sure that you are happy to pay them. I do not offer any other international postage options, and I cannot change postage costs after purchase.
Returns
Please read the description carefully before purchasing. I am happy to accept returns if you are not satisfied with your purchase, but please contact me first.
