Description
Robert Armes - Songs for Icarus (Stony Creek) 1972 Very rare private press folk psych from Canada. Beautiful male & female vocal harmonies, strong original songs. First time I've ever come across a copy of this record. Relatively unknown and only seen on ebay once before and it sold for a very high price, so bid accordingly.
Song titles:
Side One: Imagine a World With No Music, Woman in Toronto, Put Your Cards on the Table, Song for Icarus, 2/2 Blues, Fallen Star, Epilogue, Side Two: Bobcaygeon, Slipping Away, Someday, Requiem, Sun Song, Lying Close Together
Check out the audio and more pics here:
Cover: VG (top seam wear and writing on cover) - Note: The wax pencil on cover could likely be removed, but I'll leave that to the winning bidder to decide.
Record: NM (no scratches, only slight label wear - a beautiful copy)
All items are original pressings unless otherwise stated.
Shipping is $9 US & Canada, $15 international Payment by Paypal preferred. Payment must be received within 5 days of auction close. Please see my other items for more rare and obscure rock, psych, metal, private press and Canadian Lp's.
