Robert Cray ORIG US LP Strong persuader EX ’86 Signed 8305681 Blues Soul
Original US LP released in 1986 on Mercury Records. Cat: 8305681. Front of cover has been signed by the artist.The set that made Cray a pop star, despite its enduring blues base. Cray's smoldering stance on "Smoking Gun" and "Right Next Door" rendered him the first sex symbol to emerge from the blues field in decades, but it was his innovative expansion of the genre itself that makes this album a genuine 1980s classic. "Nothing but a Woman" boasts an irresistible groove pushed by the Memphis Horns and some metaphorically inspired lyrics, while "I Wonder" and "Guess I Showed Her" sizzle with sensuality.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and is in Excellent condition. Cover has some light marks and small surface tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brYoshikazu own paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
