The next album is his 1976 third solo album ‘Some People Can Do What They Like’
a true powerhouse of a record with ten tracks, that included ‘Man Smart (Woman Smarter)’,
‘Spanish Moon’, ‘Have Mercy’ and ‘Some People Can Do What They Like’.
The fourth selection is the 1978 ‘Double Fun’ filled with 9 amazing songs, like ‘Every Kinda People’,
‘Night People’, ‘Best of Both Worlds’ and ‘You’re Gonna Get What’s Coming’.
The fifth LP is the 1979 ‘Secrets’ one of his highest charting albums with eleven fantastic
songs like his two hits ‘Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)’ and ‘Can We Still Be Friends’,
as well as ‘Jealous’, ‘Under Suspicion’ and ‘In Walks Love Again’.
The sixth selection is the 1980 ‘Clues’ another huge hit with 8 tracks like ‘Sulky Girl’,
‘Johnny and Mary’, ‘Woke Up Laughing’ and a cover of the Beatles ‘Not a Second Time’.
The seventh LP is a live record that combines six live tracks of old songs with four new songs
recorded in the studio, including “Some Guys Have All the Luck”, which was a hit. Some of
the other tracks are ‘Style Kills’ and ‘Maybe It’s You’.
The last album is the 1985 ‘Riptide’ which would become his biggest selling album with such
hits like ‘Addicted to Love’ and ‘I Didn’t Mean to Turn You On’ has well as ‘Trick Bag’ and
‘Discipline of Love’.
A truly great find of an important musical collection and great fun records, you won’t
be able to stop playing.
Experience the music the way it was meant to be heard in all the warm tones
of its analog quality stereophonic vinyl sound and not the inferior audio of MP3s.
