Description
Robert Rauschenberg Limited Edition.
Talking Heads “Speaking in Tongues” (1983)
Unplayed • Complete • Clear Vinyl • Art Edition
Rare 1983 Robert Rauschenberg Limited-Edition art version of Speaking in Tongues, featuring his iconic layered rotating-disc design housed in the original yellow tinted clamshell in original cellophane wrapper.
The cellophane wrap is ripped but still intact. Originally personally ordered and purchased at Peaches records in Little Rock, Arkansas, sadly no longer around, 43 years ago. Obviously album itself has never been played, and all Rauschenberg components remain clean, intact, and original. Longtime fan of the Talking Heads. Attended 3 concerts over the years. Time to let it go to a new fan.
Genuine 1983 first-issue Rauschenberg art package
Clear vinyl LP, never opened
Three spinning plastic collage discs designed by Rauschenberg
Original yellow clamshell case in original cellophane wrapper
Highly sought after by collectors of Talking Heads
A beautiful and significant edition and one of the most celebrated art–music collaborations.
Ships USPS Media Mail 8.00 or Priority Mail 30.00 (Insurance Available On Request at Buyers Expense) well packed sandwiched between rigid coroplast sheet bubble wrapped and well secured in sturdy box.
