Description

After leaving the famed Conjunto Casino, vocalist Roberto Faz founded his own conjunto macho in the mid-1950s. A very versatile and talented sonero, Faz's conjunto was considered the hardest hitting non-Black conjunto.  You can hear the Faz influence in large quantity in the 1970s NYC salsa conjuntos.
I inherited this LP from the last time my parents returned to Cuba in the summer of 1958. This is the rare hybrid "tourist" edition, jacket is made and printed in Cuba, while the vinyl is the 180grams superior NYC pressing with label inner groove. Album licensed by Montilla Records that released Puchito music in the US. The record looks pristine, VG+
I am not sure my parents ever played this record more than once, maybe twice. Blue Puchito label with silver print and Montilla logo.
Jacket: Harder to find lime green color cover made and printed in Cuba.
Top, side and bottom edges have transparent tape.Front cover has a pen written P in upper right. Back cover has pen written name on the bottom left. There is some age discoloration on the back cover, towards top left corner. Side  & bottom edges are intact, most minimum wear. Corners show a bit of wear.  Front and back covers show some minimal rub wear.  see photos

Photos seen were taken with my cell camera, not the highest resolution, it's the actual LP but due to the new ebay size policy for photos, I had to enlarge images making them slightly distorted.

As a life long record collector, I protect and pack records very well before shipping using a traditional cardboard LP mailer

International Buyers: Keep in mind that shipping costs to Europe, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Asia can at times exceed the purchase price. see Additional Checkout Instructions for more information.
