Description
Rare and much sought after copy of The Plague, an interpretation of Camus novella of the same name composed by Roberto Gerhard and conducted by Antal Dorati. Considered a benchmark in modern classical composition and recording. Vinyl is in great condition, v clean,. Plays all the way through without any jumps. There is one visible mark of about two inches on side 1 and one visible marks across all of side 2. See pictures. However I have played it through a number of times and there is no effect to the sound. The playback does not jump or pop. There is some very minor hiss and crackle, but that could be removed with a professional clean. Cover is good with a little sign of wear on the edges. Contains the original 6-page insert with introduction, photos and lyrics. This is in excellent condition. A great collector piece.
