Roberto Roena y su Apollo Sound 1 original debut LP on 1st press International/Fania cat # SLP 383 (1970)
After Roberto left El Gran Combo and recorded his first album as a leader with Los Megatones, he was inspired by the first Moon landing so when he signed onto the Fania label he named his new group the Apollo Sound. This is the first press International/Fania pressing with the original orange label and International Fania logo. A short time after this, the label became International dropping the Fania after it. Back cover has original Fania 7th Avenue office address and orginal Apollo Sound personnel.

Vinyl is VG ++, I played this LP only once after purchasing it around 1971 as I bought 2 copies and the other one remains as my own play copy. I could easily rate this record mint minus but I'll take the conservative road. Record jacket is in very good condition. Top and side edges have minimal wear, side binder edge has artist, title and label identification in flawless condition. Bottom edge displays some wear and has a 1-inch split from corner inward. Front cover shows some slight record rub wear towards top and bottom edges Back cover also shows some record rub wear towards top, record slot and bottom edges. Bi-lingual liner notes written by Tite Curet who also served as creative director for the session and composer for 2 tracks.
I am very proud of my 100% rating on all my SALES, my actual rating is 98+% because of 2 PURCHASES I made from shady dealers several years ago when I first started using e-bay, both of those vendors have since been dropped by e-bay.
